We really are having quite a time with this pandemic aren’t we?
Many weddings have been postponed, cancelled or plans have been put on hold, our shops and eateries have shut their doors and we have been told to stay inside; but despite a very challenging year for all of us, some real magic did happen..A shining light at the end of a very dark tunnel
Molly & Matt originally planning a relaxed barn wedding, with a soft palette of ivory and blush; loose, undone wedding flowers with lots of emphasis on wild textural foliages. Circumstances with the Covid 19 pandemic eventually forced their hands to opt for a change of venue to a stately home. Unfortunately, due to the impact that the virus had on so many of our beloved wedding venues, their second venue closed its doors permanently before we had time to plan for the new installations we were so very excited about
After numerous date changes, venue changes & venue closures, they decided to opt for a beautiful micro-wedding in London with an intimate ceremony at Old Marylebone Town Hall followed by dinner in The Tower Suite at The Landmark London and it was every bit as gorgeous as it sounds. What a beautiful day!
A chic palette of crisp whites and greens, with elegant lines were chosen as the wedding flowers for the day, with a pretty table-scape of dainty bud vases and candlelight for dining in The Tower Suite
I couldn’t be happier to see these lovelies finally tie the knot, congratulations Molly & Matt, wishing you a life time of love and happiness together
A look back to our beautiful stand at The Milton Keynes wedding show in September.
Inspiration was taken from garden scenes of rambling rose archways found around the British aisles.
We wanted to create a dramatic display which charged the senses, with scent and shape for the couples attending the show.
An abundance of roses pulled the design together in tones of pink, blush and cream. The true stars of the show though, were the foraged foliages-Silver birch, beech and berried ivy.
Look at the Fiori glassware, Leontine charger plates and antique Versailles cutlery by Duchess and Butler nestled into the floral table top-just breathtaking!
Not forgetting the stunning urbane napkins by Just for Linen which accented the colour palette perfectly.
The arch was created with over 400 hundred roses-Pink Mondial, White Mondial and Pink O’Hara and Bombastic spray rose-the scent was immense and although I’m a little immune to smelly blooms even I could smell the roses on the approach to the stand.
That Pink O’Hara rose working its magic…
I love to create show-stopping displays, with a natural feel and flow-bringing the outside in for a soft and romantic feel.
Dress your chairs with florals to complete the look!
Thank you so much to all of the couples who came to see me-I had a wonderful time meeting you all!

This beautiful pair were married in June this year at The Tythe Barn in Launton. Built back in the 14th Century, it still retains so many of its original features. Such a beautiful venue to hold your celebration.
Lisa and Romane opted for an outdoor ceremony and with this years gorgeous temperatures, the weather didn’t disappoint!
Lisa held a show stopping trailing bouquet of Roses, Lisianthus, Astilbe, flowering Mint. All topped off with an abundance of textured foliages.
Romane wore a garden rose buttonhole, accented with delicate blooms contained within the bridal bouquet.
Lisa had a whopping 7 Bridesmaids and 2 flower girls, and their bouquets were made in blooms to compliment their nude toned dresses.
The ceremony area was delicately accented with dainty bud vases and candlelight.
Inside the barn, on the top table, we created a gorgeous display using the bridesmaids bouquets in glass vases with dainty arrangements placed into vintage crystal holders placed throughout. This was all topped off with masses of candlelight to add warmth and romance.
The guest tables were adorned with crystal vases in coordinating blooms, rose petals and votives.
A huge thank you to Lisa & Romane for letting me play a part in their special day, I loved every minute!
I met the lovely Lauren and Chris in September 2016 for a chat over coffee at their wedding venue, Hunton Park Hotel. They married on 18th August 2017
Lauren had mentioned that flowers were a really integral part of the day and that it was important to create a wow factor with all of the blooms used at their wedding. There was to be lots of textural foliages used throughout all of the arrangements coupled with pastel blooms to compliment their bridesmaids dresses which were a dusky pink/nude tone.

The palette was based around cream, dusky pink, nude, peach, blush with just a hint of lilac throughout-Totally yummy!

Lauren loved the idea of a trailing bouquet, with lots of ivy draping, made into an informal style.
We used a gorgeous mix of Quicksand, Sweet Avalanche, Amnesia and Pearl Avalanche Roses with Hydrangea, Scabious, Lisianthus, Astilbe, Dahlia, Amaranthus and scented mint. It was accented with heaps of foliages including Asparagus fern, berried ivy, seeded eucalyptus and Lauren looked absolutely breathtaking holding her bouquet!

Such a beautiful bride!
And of course we can’t forget Chris who looked super dashing on the day! Chris wore a buttoniere with a dainty selection of flowers that were included within Lauren’s bouquet.

The bridesmaids held a hand tied selection of complimentary flowers and the groomsmen wore petite buttonieres to compliment them.

The ceremony was held at the very pretty Parish of Leavesden Church in Watford with the service being held by Father Robert

Back at the venue we dressed the fireplaces with delicate cut crystal vases, lanterns, tea lights and rose petals to create a warm welcome to all of their guests.
The tables were adorned with a beautiful mix of tall luxurious centrepieces set into glass cylinder vases with trailing ivy and amaranthus and low level arrangements in dainty vases to add depth and interest. It looked divine!

Throughout the table designs we used a mix of different height votives to create a staggered lighting effect.
To dress the top table we placed glass bowls intermittently throughout for the bridal and bridesmaids bouquets to be placed within after the service and entwined ivy and candlelight throughout.
The couple chose a naked cake, which was decorated with flowers to compliment the theme of their day by their cake maker Ciara Linskey at Dream Big Dream Cakes.

Their guests danced the night away and then were treated a sparkler send off for Lauren and Chris later on in the evening. So sweet!!!
